# E se la velocità fosse un fattore di ranking?

Dalla discussione emerge il fatto che si tratta di un segnale che fa da "**spareggio**" tra pagine competono.

Gary, circa al minuto 7, afferma che i tie-break si verificano molto spesso.. quindi non è insolito che entrino in gioco gli spareggi. Questa potrebbe essere un'indicazione molto, molto preziosa.

### Alcune considerazioni

1. **Non dobbiamo pensare alle prestazioni solo in relazione al ranking**. Si tratta, prima di tutto di offrire una **esperienza utente** straordinaria. Ti accorgi di questo quando navighi siti web che sono talmente veloci che le pagine sembrano uscire dallo schermo.
2. Tornando al **ranking**.. prima o poi, i competitor posizionati sotto di te in SERP rifaranno il sito web (probabilmente lo stanno già facendo). A quel punto, potrebbe essere tardi per lo "*spareggio*".
